Art Integration: Learning Beyond Books

At St. John, art is not just an extracurricular activity—it is an integral part of our academic curriculum. We believe that artistic expression enhances creativity, builds confidence, and deepens understanding across subjects. Through hands-on projects that incorporate art, music, and drama, students develop critical thinking skills and a holistic approach to learning.

How We Integrate Art into Academics:

Mathematics: Understanding geometry through visual art projects and architectural models.

Science: Exploring biology concepts with clay modeling, painting, and creative diagrams.

History: Bringing historical events to life through dramatizations and cultural murals.

Languages: Enhancing expression through poetry recitations, storytelling, and theatrical performances.

By integrating art into education, we make learning more engaging, immersive, and meaningful for our students.

Annual Day and Sports Week

These are key school events, held annually in alternating grand celebrations. They offer students invaluable opportunities to showcase talents, develop life skills like teamwork and sportsmanship, build confidence, and connect with peers and teachers. These events promote a healthy lifestyle, celebrate achievements, and create lasting memories for the entire school community.

Celebration

Celebration at the national and state levels are important events for students to remember and pay regard to the country's struggle towards independence. It fills them with patriotism and makes the students understand the sacrifices of our leaders. The school actively encourages diversified activities centered around these festivals that play an important role in the preservation and nourishment of our rich and diverse cultural heritage. These activities usually range from cultural performances, traditional arts and crafts, and educational programs that are essential for the further appreciation of shared history and values.
